Governor Jang appoints his son as Commissioner in Plateau

Many people have said Governors Jonah Jang and T.A. Orji are the worst governors in Nigeria, yet they are the ones bent on perpetuating themselves in power through their sons. That's Nigeria for you!

The Plateau State Governor has named his son, Yakubu Jang, as the state Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning. Before this new development, Yakubu was his father’s Special Adviser on Special Duties.

According to the Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Abubakar, he will take over from Yilji Gomwalk, who has been picked as the running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate for the 2015 governorship election, Mr. Gyang Pwajok.
