I just stumbled on this picture on and couldn't understand what a
groom would be doing under his bride's wedding gown ,in the full glare
of the public.
Someone said "Its a typical American tradition in weddings..during the reception, the groom looks for the brides garter and throws it to the single men in at the party and the tradition goes that he who catches the garter will marry next".
