G*y Daughter Of Hong Kong Billionaire Writes Him An Open Letter

Posted By: Mercy - 6:17 AM

Last week, Hong Kong billionaire, Cecil Chao, 77, was in the news after he reportedly doubled his reward ($130million) for any man who would woo his daughter away from her lesbian lover, marry her and give him grandchildren.

The daughter, Gigi Chao, 34, who is already married to her partner Sean Eav & resides in France has written an open letter to her father asking for him to come to terms with the fact that she is a lesbian.

The letter was published yesterday in Chinese newspaper, South China Morning Post. Find it below;

Dear Daddy,
I thought the timing was right for us to have a candid conversation.

You are one of the most mentally astute, energetic yet well mannered and hard-working people this humble earth has ever known.

Your confidence, quick wit, and charisma brightens any room you enter.

I love you very much, and I think I can speak for my brothers also, that we have the utmost respect for you as a father and role model in business.

I am sorry that people have been saying insensitive things about you lately. The truth is, they don't understand that I will always forgive you for thinking the way you do, because I know you think you are acting in my best interests. And we both don't care if anybody else understands.

As your daughter, I would want nothing more than to make you happy. But in terms of relationships, your expectations of me and the reality of who I am, are not coherent.

I am responsible for some of this misplaced expectation, because I must have misled you to hope there were other options for me. You know I've had male lovers in the past, and I've had happy, albeit short-lived, relationships. I found myself temporarily happy, buoyed by the freshness, the attention, the interest, of someone physically stronger than myself.

But it was always short-lived, as I quickly lost patience, and felt an indescribable discomfort in their presence. It usually made me frustrated, and I would yearn for my freedom again. I've broken a few hearts, hearts of good, honest and loving men, and I'm sorry that it had to be so.

But with Sean, a woman, somehow it was different. I am comfortable and satisfied with my life and completely at ease with her. I know it's difficult for you to understand how I could feel romantically attracted to a woman; I suppose I can't really explain it either. It just happens, peacefully and gently, and after so many years, we still love each other very much.

My regret is that you have no idea how happy I am with my life, and there are aspects of my life that you don't share. I suppose we don't need each other's approval for our romantic relationships, and I am sure your relationships are really fantastic too.

However, I do love my partner Sean, who does a good job of looking after me, ensuring I am fed, bathed and warm enough every day, and generally cheering me up to be a happy, jolly girl. She is a large part of my life, and I am a better person because of her.

Now, I'm not asking you to be best of friends; however, it would mean the world to me if you could just not be so terrified of her, and treat her like a normal, dignified human being.
I understand it is difficult for you to understand, let alone accept this truth.

I've spent a lot of time figuring out who I am, what is important in my life, who I love and how best to live life, as an expression of all these questions. I am proud of my life, and I would not choose to live it any other way (except also figuring out how to be gentler on the planet).

I'm sorry to mislead you to think I was only in a lesbian relationship because there was a shortage of good, suitable men in Hong Kong.

There are plenty of good men, they are just not for me.

Wishing you happiness.
Patiently yours,
Your daughter, Gigi.

”I Never Cheated On 9ice”- Toni Payne Open Up

Posted By: Mercy - 6:24 AM

After her Tweets on relationship and marriage went viral yesterday, fans questioned her on whether she was in a good position to give marriage/relationship advice after she and her husband, singer 9ice separated following claims of alleged infidelity with a certain Nigerian rapper.

It was even said that 9ice's song 'Once beaten, twice shy' where he talked about cheating, infidelity and catching a lady in the act with a friend was about her and the alleged rapper which every party vehemently denied.

Toni Payne who had a son with 9ice later yesterday took to her blog to insist that she never cheated on 9ice. Issokay

Read what she said below…

To those who still believe I cheated on my ex. I am sorry to disappoint you, I never cheated on my ex hubby. Its not who I am, it will never be who I am. Tell yourself 1 million times, Toni Payne cheated, it will never make it true. Nobody caught me in any lie, or in any bad situation, nobody slept with anyone he was close to. Yall need to put a full stop to that bullshit. Its old!.

Sometimes, men want their freedom, and the fact is you cant force them to stay. Same goes for women. Everyone wont have a perfect relationship, not everyone will stay married forever, we can only aspire to. Even those that have been married 10 years and are busy judging others, do you know your tomorrow? naaaa you sure don't so curb it abeg. We can only pray, work, and hope for a good union.

Anyways To address this my ex said this or that issue. Let me just say He has NEVER for once opened his mouth to accuse me of cheating. He has NEVER for once opened his mouth to accuse me of sleeping with anyone he knows. If awon alaiye baje wanna use our situation then to sell their crap, how is that my fault? The same media controlling the remote to say I think cheating is ok, are the same who controlled the remote back then to say his song was about me. Nobody ever called him to verify or ask before publishing. Ill admit that we both did not handle the situation well back then, It was the first time we would experience such.

The tension was plenty and emotions were everywhere. We should have sorted it privately. which we did try to do but one rubbish headline and emotions go buckwild again. I don't wanna sounding like I am defending him, cos he is responsible for himself, but in all fairness to him, and because I have a conscience that serves me well, not for once did he tweet, fb, email, interview anything of the sort. Our issues had absolutely nothing to do with what the media were speculating. People took a song he did and turned it upside down. My crew MIXED AND MASTERED the song. If it was about me, why would I allow him release it. God gave all of us sense naa.. Some just chose not to use theirs and chose to believe anything they read even when the facts are there to sort through.

The only thing I have blamed him for, was not coming out on time to refute the claims and allowing it to escalate to that level, he has since apologized SEVERALLY, we have discussed it privately as we should have from the jump. I have accepted and moved on. I have also apologized for losing my cool on twitter, he has since accepted and moved on. Really, what more is there. I am not sure what people want from me. Should I hate him forever? Should I tie him to a post and flog him mercilessly? Should I be a wicked person and deprive him of his son? If I remain bitter and upset, please what value will it add to my life? Wo, my life is much more simpler than all this.

Those who know me well, know this. Those that dont understand me are the ones who will be forever outside looking in, speculating crap.

I am truly tired of this topic but since it seems to keep popping up, i felt it is best to finally address it properly. If anyone decides to hang on to the lie after this, that is their own cup of tea. I have a talk show to record, poetry to write and a child to raise. I don talk my own. FIN!.

Kanye West Settles Man He Beat Up In Beverly Hills With $250,000

Posted By: Mercy - 5:51 AM

According to TMZ, Kanye has settled the man he beat up in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor with more than $250k.

The young man who allegedly hurled racial epithets at Kim earlier this month has agreed to the civil settlement and now feels satisfied enough that he does not want to go forward with a criminal prosecution.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... the D.A. has not decided whether to charge Kanye with battery. The reality is ... there's almost no chance of that happening.  First, the D.A. now has an uncooperative victim. Second, the victim's alleged racial epithets will not sit well with the jury. And there are probably lots of Kanye fans in the jury pool.

We're told during the settlement negotiations the victim's demand soared to the upper 6 figures, so $250K is just a fraction. We called Kanye's civil lawyer, Shawn Holley for comment ... but we got nothin'.Nevertheless ... we're calling it case closed." TMZ reports

Insider - 'D'Banj & Genevieve Nnaji Are Not Dating! It Was All A Publicity Stunt'

Posted By: Mercy - 6:35 AM

According to Encomium Weekly, inside sources have confirmed to them that there is no intimate relationship between Nigeria's top entertainer D'Banj and A-list Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji.

That what happened on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Nigerian Breweries Plc's sponsored event tagged, Club Ultimate, shouldn't be used as evidence that the celebrities have rekindled their love cos it's all a publicity stunt.

ENCOMIUM Weekly says they were at the event when D'Banj, garbed in a white shirt, straight cut
black jeans and a black waist coat, drove in in a black Bentley (one of the two Bentleys he bought while in the defunct Mo'Hits), followed by a G-Wagon, which was driven by the gifted thespian, Genevieve.

Obviously, the expression on D'Banj's face showed that he wanted the actress, and they displayed public affection for each other.

But the source said there was no intimacy in what we all saw that night, other than having fun. The source, who did not want his name published said:

"D'Banj and 'Gene', as Geneveive is fondly called, once dated. They were dating when D'Banj paid Genevieve N2 million to feature her in Fall in Love video, before they parted ways. Since then, they have been best friends".

D'Banj (32) has been romantically linked with different ladies, notable among them were Jennifer Obayuwana, Ini Edo, Nadia Buari, Sarah Ofili, among others, but the entertainer said he is yet to find the right girl. While Genevieve Nnaji (33) was also said to have had a liaison with top celebrities, including Kunle Coker and others.

Too much salt in the diet contributes to edema and bloating. Stick to the recommended 1500 mg of salt intake a day. Don't put salt on the table to add to your dinner and limit the amount whilst cooking.

1. Cut down on salt: Too much salt in the diet contributes to edema and bloating. Stick to the recommended 1500 mg of salt intake a day. Don't put salt on the table to add to your dinner and limit the amount whilst cooking. Avoiding ready meals is a must too as these are laden with salt for flavour.

2. Eat more fiber: Eating a combination of soluble and insoluble fiber is an effective way to stay fit and avoid the bloated feeling that comes with constipation. Foods that are rich in fiber include oranges, mushrooms, raspberries, broccoli and cabbage.

3. Focus on potassium-rich foods: As sodium makes body retain water, potassium helps it to get rid of excess water. Eating potassium-rich foods like bananas and sweet potatoes can help minimise your middle waist. But make sure to exercise right as these can be fattening too.

4. Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water ensures that fibre can do its job to ease constipation too. Not drinking enough water can also aggravate your sodium and potassium levels.

5. Avoid digestive stress: Stay away from foods that are difficult to digest like sugary or fattyfoods. Focus instead on simple meals what are made with whole foods and steamed vegetables to heal digestive system.

6. Ditch artificial sweeteners: Found in flavoured water, diet, low-carbs and sugar-free foods, artificial sweeteners aren't completely digested by body. Bacteria in the large intestine tend to ferment them, causing gas and bloating. Always check food labels to avoid sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol and lacitol.

Desmond has denied the claims saying: "It's not true, not true at all"

Please Help!! Before I Murder My Husband!

Posted By: Mercy - 4:08 AM

Please help me before I commit murder. My husband is driving me insane and our marriage is less than a year old. It's come to a point I secretly wish something bad happens to him so I can have peace in my life.

He has so many female friends and claims there is nothing between them yet they keep calling him at odd hours. He comes to the house very late and on Fridays at times till daybreak.

Before marriage he takes me along but now I live like a woman with no husband. The painful part is he was nobody when I met him. I stood by him when things were tough while we were courting, now that he has a good job, he is wasting money going to bars, making long calls to women and deleting his messages.

Recently, I saw a message he sent to a girl that he forgot to delete. He told her he misses her and still loves her. When I confronted him, he didn't say anything and has been keeping malice with me for days.

What I don't understand is he makes it seem I'm the bad person, that did I marry him or his phone, that didn't he see other girls before he married me? If a man has nothing to hide he shouldn't be angry when his wife touches his phone.

I'm so unhappy and I'm scared of walking out because his people have this bad notion about yoruba women that they don't stay in their husband's house and this marriage is just 10 months. I'm fed up and tempted to poison him.

Man Claiming To Be Prophet Mohammed Gets Sentenced To Death For Blasphemy

Posted By: Mercy - 6:11 AM

Human rights campaigners are calling for the immediate release of a British man sentenced to death under Pakistan's blasphemy laws.
Mr Mohammad Asghar was arrested in 2010 after he claimed to be Prophet Mohammed in letters sent to various officials. A judge convicted and sentenced him last Thursday following a trial.

But a lawyer who defended Mr Asghar said he suffers from mental illness and the case was really a property dispute.
Amnesty International's deputy Asia Pacific director Polly Truscott said:
'Mohammad Asghar is now facing the gallows simply for writing a series of letters. He does not deserve punishment. No one should be charged on the basis of this sort of conduct. The blasphemy laws undermine the rule of law, and people facing charges risk death and other harm in detention.
Pakistan must immediately release Mohammad Ashgar and reform its blasphemy laws to ensure that this will not happen again.'

Reports say people in the country, accused of blasphemy have been attacked and killed by angry vigilante mobs. Two prominent politicians who criticised the blasphemy law were murdered in recent years. One of the politicians was shot by his own bodyguard, who then attracted adoring crowds.

"Guys Are Born To Cheat And I Have Cheated On A Boyfriend Before" - Actress Dayo Amusa

Posted By: Mercy - 6:48 AM

Here's what the Yoruba actress had to say on cheating, men and her relationships in a recent chat with The Sun New Online.

On Cheating
"Yes I have cheated on a boyfriend. I cheated when I  realized he wasn't real and not what he said he was. In my mind, I moved on even without telling him. I move on in my mind before telling the person I'm dating. If I make up my mind, that's it.

Has your boyfriend ever cheated on you?
Which guy does not cheat? Guys are born to cheat.

Did you feel bad?
Yes, most definitely. I won't leave my man because he cheated. I won't. That's the way men are. They can tell you, you are the only sugar in their tea. Don't mind them. There's honey they are mixing with it. I don't want to see it. You know some guys are so irresponsible that they splash it in your face.

Zakieya, the children's mother felt there was something bad going on with her children, so with the help of a friend who lived with them 21 years old Monifa Sanford, they tried casting out the demons.
