"We don't know what is going on, everybody is running, it seems there is war in this area", these are the words of a resident of the Aso Drive area in Abuja who got across to GOTO INFO on the development.
There was heavy gunfire exchanges around the vicinity of Aso Rock presidential Villa and the headquarters of the State State Services, SSS, in the Asokoro District of Abuja in the past one hour, security sources and residents of the area said.
The headquarters of the State Security Service, popularly known as Yellow House, is almost adjacent one of the gates of the presidential villa. Residents of the nearby Aso Drive Area said the gunshots were either coming out of the SSS headquarters or the presidential villa.
"We don't know what's going on here. Heavy gunfire has been coming from the direction of the villa. The entire area has been barricaded. SSS operatives are scampering out of their headquarters as the gunshots get louder.
"Soldiers are now heading in the direction of the SSS headquarters with Armoured Personnel Carriers. Those of us living around here have been asked to stay indoors and not venture out."
A resident of the area told Premium Times in Abuja. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, could not be reached for comments as at the time of filing this report.
Casualty figures are not clear yet but top sources told us that it is a Boko Haram operations and Military helicopters have now been deployed and now hovering around Aso Rock and the SSS office.

CONFUSION!!! Nigerian Police Officer Kills Wife, 5 Others And Self Over Marital Dispute.
Police Corporal Sunkanmi Ogunbiyi, attached to State Criminal Investigation Department of the Ogun State Police Command, went berserk on Thursday morning in Abeokuta.
The rampaging policeman was said to be having matrimonial problems with Oluwatosin, his wife, who is also a police corporal attached to Obantoko police station in Abeokuta, the Ogun capital.
According to neighbours, following a quarrel between the couple, Oluwatosin moved, alongside their two children, to the house of a neighbour, their landlady.
Witnesses said Mr. Ogunbiyi arrived the landlady's residence at about 7:02 a.m. and immediately opened fire on his wife.
He also shot and killed the landlady, a 2-year-old toddler, and three others. He did not shoot at his children, who were also in the house.
Three other tenants also sustained gunshot injuries during the incident which occurred at 67, Ifelodun Street, Akingbala area of Obantoko, Abeokuta. The injured were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, where they are now receiving treatment.
Some neighbours told PREMIUM TIMES that the police corporal had in the past warned the landlady not to harbour his wife and children whenever the couple had any misunderstanding.
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, later visited the scene to assess the situation.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, confirmed the incident.
He said that Mr. Ogunbiyi and his wife had been having 'domestic conflicts' before Thursday's killings.
"The Ogun State Police Command has deemed it necessary to react to the killing of six persons by a police Corporal Sunkanmi Ogunbiyi attached to the Ogun State Police Command," the spokesperson said in the statement.
"The unfortunate incident occurred this morning Thursday 27th March, 2014 at 0758hrs when the said corporal, who had been having domestic conflicts with his wife, shot and killed six persons, with his rifle, including his wife, Woman Corporal Oluwatosin Faremi, the landlady in the house, a two-year-old baby girl and two males and one female, while another three persons sustained injuries and receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi Aba, Abeokuta. The said corporal, having killed these persons, shot himself dead immediately.

In a notice to the public, the EFCC noted: "The public is hereby notified that Alhaji Muttairu Babatunde Babaegbe Orilowo, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Obtaining Money under False Pretences and Stealing.
"Dark complexioned Orilowo is 47 years old, 5.7 Feet tall and has brown eyes. He speaks English and Yoruba fluently. His last known address is No. 1 Otunba Adeniyi Street, Papa-Epe, Lagos.
Though, close friends hinted Orilowo may have sneaked out of the country to Canada to escape arrest, the declaration by the EFCC was due to one business that went awry. They are confident that he will return soon and clear all the grey areas involving a top telecom company and a leading bank. Orilowo has his hands in many pies including property, dredging, and oil and gas with huge investment scattered over Ajah, Ibeju- Lekki, Epe axis.

Like I told you, I don't recall the movie. I do a lot of movies and I can't remember what happens in all of them. The fact that I don't recall means that the movie was shot a long time ago. Probably three or more years back. when love scene was in vogue with producers. I'm still searching for the movie to acquaint myself with the story.
There has never been anything between myself and any actress that I've made a movie with. My romantic relationships have always been outside the movie industry. I don't take my work home.
But you seem to have the knack for romantic scenes. Why?
Love making scenes are normal in movies. When we see them in foreign movies it's nothing. But when it's done here, people start questioning actors morality. Bear in mind that these scenes are not shot the way it's finally seen when the movie comes out. Nothing ever actually happens. Not with about ten people in the production crew in the room with you.
I want to add that the aim in making movies is to enlighten people. You want them to see exactly what's happening in the world around them. You want them shocked into action against whatever it is you're trying to portray. Avoiding to touch, the sensibilities of people only result in those things you want seen and treated, ignored. In that regard, I try to make my acting as real as possible without actually doing something wrong.
How do you feel being labelled a porn star, because some people feel that is what you are actually becoming in the industry
I'm not a porn star and I never will be. Love making scenes are sometimes inclusive in a movie and should be done with class. Sometimes editors and directors don't edit or direct well and it comes out wrong. Will you call any of the American or British movie stars a porn star?
As a top brand in Nollywood and as a sex symbol: how do you handle advances from women?
I avoid them. And please, I'm not a sex symbol. I've done two hundred movies, out of which only about ten of them have anything concerning sex. Why are people concentrating on those? An actor, before he can be acknowledged as one, has to play quite a number of roles in his career.

But now, according to Punch, a source close to the couple has confirmed to them that the lovebirds' relationship is over. According to the unnamed source, Wizkid and Tania went their separate ways last December. Although the reason for their split is still unknown, the source was doubtful whether either of them was in a relationship.
"They have split for a long time now. In fact, I think it was since December. I don't know why they broke up and I don't know if Wizkid is in another relationship but they are no more together," the source said.
