The Mirror reported the "controversy."
Rapper, Reminisce, has denied a newspaper report that he regrets featuring Davido on the song, Daddy. He described the report as a lie and untrue.

"Lie 100,000 per cent," Ibrahim Okulaja, Reminisce's manager told GOTO INFORMATION on Thursday.
According to the story, Reminisce was unhappy because the lyrics in the chorus sang by Davido were more applicable to the Omo Baba Olowo's life than Reminisce's.

Davido, who has never been shy about the wealth of his father, Adedeji Adeleke, founder of Pacific Holdings Limited, sang in the chorus, "Mo fe lowo ju daddy mi, mo fe lowo ju baba mi." (I want to be richer than my father.)
The report had also alleged that Davido performed Daddy at events to which he was exclusively invited.

However when GOTO INFORMATIONS spoke to Davido's manager, Kamal Ajiboye, he denied the claim.

"He has never performed the song or any other one on which he collaborated – except for (Sinzu's) Carolina-at an event. I really don't know how the reporter came up with the story. It's a lie," he said.
