SAD! Wizkid confirms grandmum’s death

 Earlier in the day, news broke that Starboy, Wizkid is bereaved. The then unconfirmed reports were related to the death of the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer’s grand-mum.

TON made efforts to confirm the authenticity of the reports by putting a call through to his manager, Seun Johnson who responded: ‘I’m not sure yet, I’ve not heard about it. It’s a family affair so I’ll have to confirm and get back to you.’


Although his manager never got back, Wizkid, however, took to Twitter a few minutes ago to confirm the story by saying: ‘R.I.P Grand ma. Love u to the moon and back. I’m sad! Real sad! Good woman. Looked out for all of us. Wish we had more time together. Love!’
