BREAKING News: Plateau Assembly Speaker resigns, new speaker elected

The former speaker was under pressure from his colleagues.
 
John Clark has resigned as the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly.
 
This follows pressure on the speaker by his colleagues who asked him to quit or be impeached.
 
Another lawmaker, Titus Alarms, from Bokkos constituency, has been elected as the new speaker.
