In February, report of a 9-year-old girl, Nicole Benson,
who donated her lunch money to Presidential campaign team of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) went viral.
Nicole, a pupil of Greensprings School Lekki campus said the donation was her token for a successful campaign for Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the APC presidential candidate.
The little girl officially made the donation of about 6,000 naira at the Buhari interactive session with Nigerian women on Thursday, March 19, in Lagos.
At the interactive session, she explained how she saved up her lunch money given to her by her mother just help support the GMB campaign because she feels that the time has come for the much needed change.
Nicole publicly read the letter which she wrote to the APC Presidential Campaign team about a month ago.
Nicole is not the first person that will be donating to support Buhari.
On January 27, an elderly woman had donated her life savings of 1million Naira to support the APC presidential candidate.
Hajiya Fati Koko popularly called ‘Mai Talle Tara’, a popular business woman in Koko, Koko LGA of Kebbi state, did not hesitate to give the money when Buhari campaigned in the state.
She had described the former military head of state as an honest, principled and God-fearing gentleman
