How To Know He's Not Ready For Marriage

Perhaps, you are in your late 20s and you have been expecting your age-long boyfriend to just ask you one thing-Will you marry me? But he is not even acting towards asking even when you have indirectly pushed him to say it. Push no further because he is either not ready to say it, or he is not convinced it's time or rather, he's not sure you are the wife. 
Here are some ways to know if he's not ready for marriage.

•What He Says: If all he is bothered about is just him, then you have to watch it. A man that is ready for marriage will not be selfish, he will always have you in his picture. If he's not thinking of leaving that small room for a place to accommodate both of you when he can afford it, then know that he is not ready to take the marriage vows.

•Does He Show Care?: This is very important. A man who doesn't care if you exist should not have a place in your heart for a second. If he doesn't appreciate your effort to make him happy, then you have to know he still wants to play. A man who loves you will care for you even if he's the busiest person on earth, he would still squeeze out time to show some love. Seriously, if he doesn't show you that care, he's showing someone else. It is painful to quit your age-long relationship but it is better than being hooked at a point. Move on, get a life and your husband will locate you. Love is meant to make you a better person and not less. You are a royal sweetness.

How Often Do You See Him?: You own your life, the input of today determines what you will get tomorrow. If you put up at his place, you are already acting as a wife when you are only a girl friend and none will want to stick to what he is already tired of seeing. He's just okay seeing you come around, cook, scrub, wash and do all the laundry and finally have you laid underneath, then you are being used! Wait a minute, have you never thought about this? Tell yourself the truth. Truthfully, no one will want to pay for an overused material. There is nothing more to pay for, he's got it already. That it worked for your friend does not mean it will work for you.

A Man Should Be A Bit Jealous: if he's not moved at what you do even when you sound romantic while on a call with another man, just know that he doesn't care what happens to you. A man should be able to hold on to what he has. Love is not a fight or a competition but it is worth fighting for.

What Plans Does He Have For Both Of You?: A man that is ready should discuss his future with you. He should bring you into the big plan. If that is not there then, he's not ready for the His and Hers bathrobes. If the mention of starting a family pisses him off, he's probably not ready.

Also, a ready-man must be responsible mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually. He shouldn't rely on his parents for money. If a man is always running to his parents for everything, then watch it. He's still a boy growing. Note this, that a man is all over you doesn't mean he's proud of you or he wants to have you as his wife.

If you're itching to get married and he's still on the fence, don't push. No pressures. Don't panic. Take your time to look for more signs and commitments and if you are hopeful that he would still walk you down the aisles, then your patience may pay off but if you are convinced, he wants to remain a play boy, no time to waste.

In all of these, it is important to be prayerful, even when a man is ready to do the wedding ring shopping, you need to be prayerful.
