Nigerian Military Recover's Rocket Launchers Facility In Kano

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has discovered a rocket launcher production facility in Kano State, Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, said on Friday.The facility was uncovered at Dorayi District in Kumbotso LGA after a cordon-and-search exercise.

DHQ also recovered a locally-made anti-aircraft gun, mortar accessories, rocket-propelled grenade tubes, as well as AK47 rifles and hundreds of rounds of assorted ammunitions."The discovery followed the arrest of a prominent member of the terrorist group," Olukolade said.


Olukolade called on the public to always report suspicious persons to security agencies to help prevent possible terrorist acts.
