Reports reaching us reveal there was a bomb scare earlier
today, February 28 at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport,
Ikeja, Lagos.
The reports have it that the bomb scare at the airport created massive pandemonium which left passengers and government officials topsy-turvy.
However, recent reports have it that that there is no cause for alarm as it was only a drill on bomb scare response time. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), was assessing the capacity of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, to respond to a bomb attack situation.

Meanwhile, it would be recalled that no fewer than two people were
injured in November, 2014 at the cargo section of the Murtala Muhammed
International Airport, Lagos following a clash between officials of the
Nigeria Customs Service and clearing agents over alleged manhandling of a
senior customs officer.
