We reported earlier today
that Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Thursday, stormed Zenith
Bank in Ado Ekiti to withdraw money from his bank account earlier frozen
by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Lere Olayinka, the Ekiti State Governor's Special Assistant on
Public Communications and New Media, took to his social media to share
photos of his boss during and after the withdrawal from Zenith Bank in
the state.
"Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose on Thursday stormed
the Ado-Ekiti branch of the Zenith Bank to make withdrawal from his
hitherto frozen account following a federal high court order asking the
bank to de-freeze the governor’s account.
"Governor Fayose who made a withdrawal of N5 million in cash
thanked Nigerians for standing with him and against the recklessness of
the EFCC," he wrote on his Facebook page.
