Two Yaba Tech Students Killed In Cult Violence

Two students of the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos State have been killed in further incidents of cult violence, sources on the campus of the institution told SaharaReporters.

Student sources said the deaths occurred as rival cult gangs on the campus clashed over claims of seniority. On Wednesday, August 27, one student of the College identified as Peter Adetunji was reportedly shot dead by members of the Buccaneers cult, also called Alora. Eyewitnesses said the victim was shot on the head in front of the Student Union Building on the campus. Mr. Adetunji died of severe bleeding arising from the gunshot wound.

Sources said that another student, who was identified by his alias of Burna Boy, was last Thursday in front of a First Bank Branch at Fadeyi bus stop near the WAEC headquarters. 

Sources said Peter Adetunji belonged to the Eiye Confraternity while Burna Boy was a member of the Buccaneers.

Several students who spoke to SaharaReporters said they suspected that the latest victim, Burna Boy, was killed as a revenge attack for Mr. Adetunji's murder on Wednesday.

Pastor Chris Removes Every Information About His Wife From Church Website

Latest findings indicates that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy has removed every information about his wife, Anita from the church website after details of their divorce saga emerged during the week.

TheCable had earlier reported that Anita who is the Vice President of Loveworld Assembly had filed for divorce in a London Court over alleged adultery. Checks on the church's website shows that every information about the wife has mysteriously disappeared and even her photo that was previously on the home page was nowhere to be found.

SO SAD: Dog Meat Kills Five In Cross River

FIVE persons, a man and two of his children and two others were confirmed dead on Friday  in the village of Uchenyim, Wanikade, North Ukelle in northern Cross River State after eating the meat of a dog.

Reports from the area said the dog was fond of eating the eggs laid by native chicken in the Odareko-Uchenyim village and one of the villagers allegedly laced the eggs laid by his chicken with gamalin 20 insecticide  and as expected,

"the dog ate the eggs and fell ill and when it was about to die the owner quickly killed and prepared it into a delicacy which he, his family consumed and some neigbours consumed " Ugbem Onawo, a villager narrated to Vanguard.

The man and his two children and the two others who died, according to the report also ate the intestines of the dog where incidentally the poison from the gamalin 20 is lodged leading to their taking ill and dying .

"After the man shared the intestines among his children and the two neighbours and they ate death came calling and they all died though at different times ". Our source said

Onawo said they were rushed to the local health centre for medical attention  but were confirmed dead on arrival at the health centre. "A feeling of grieve has descended on the entire village and people are deeply saddened by what took place as such a tragedy has not befallen them before"

Hon Frank Ugbem, the councilor representing Wanikade Ward at the Yala Local Government Area legislature said the tragedy is painful and that he has sent a delegation to console the bereaved families.

He said all the dead have been buried in accordance within the tradition of the Ukelle people.

Husband Catches Wife in the same Hotel he Took his Girlfriend To In Lagos - See Gobe

There was serious drama in the Olodi Apapa area of Lagos on Thursday night as a man who took another lady to a hotel to enjoy himself, came out from the hotel room only to see his own wife coming out from another room in the same hotel with his best friend.

When he spotted them, the visibly angry husband, identified as Kayode, was said to have shouted:

"My own wife in a hotel with another man!"

At the first instance when Kayode saw his wife, Mrs. Funmilayo, he never envisaged that the man with her was his best friend, Mr Mufutau, but after a closer look, he noticed that the man was Mufutau and he slapped him twice before Mufutau retaliated. And serious fight broke out.

Funny enough, as both men were fighting themselves in public, Kayode's wife, Funmilayo, pounced on her husband's girlfriend and tore the lady's clothes for having the effrontry to date her husband...

The crazy fight came to an end when the Bar Man, Receptionist, and others customers intervened and they blamed both the married man and his wife for not being sincere and trustworthy to themselves.

According to Leadership, the Bar Man told Kayode that he was guilty of the same offence for bringing a lady, which they later discovered was also a married woman, to the hotel. The barman said that what occurred was a nemesis or law of distributional justice.

But before the fight ended, the women were said to have torn their clothes to shreds and left in shame.

I have been married for 10+ years and thought I was happily married till some weeks ago. From the fourth year into my marriage my mom advised us to take on 2 female relatives. One was 22 and the other 13 at that time. In 2010, we noticed that the older of the girls had become so close to my husband to the point that anyone could easily conclude they were intimate. She became rude to me but got closer to my husband and he never saw anything wrong with her attitude. He would take her to school (UNILAG) and pick her up regularly. He would gladly buy the exact items for her and myself whenever he traveled. Several times he gave her large sums without my consent or knowledge but thankfully it all came out through her mom. He blurted out once that she had STD and I was quite embarrassed that he would know that about her if nothing was going on. In the end we decided she couldn't go on living in my house and my mom came to take her away her even though my husband kicked against it furiously. The younger one stayed on and that is now my greatest undoing.

She recently sent her Dad (who lives in Lagos) a suicide message stating that she was going to kill herself if she is allowed to continue staying with us. Her dad has now called me to say he followed up with the suicide message and she confided in him that my husband disvirgined her at 15 and had continued to sleep with her till she put up some resistance late last year. She said he is also with her roommate and claimed to have seen a message from the girl to my husband implicating him. She also said that she had caught my husband and the older girl that left in 2010 in suspicious positions before the girl was sent away. I have confronted him with all these and he is not giving tangible reasons to disbelieve the girl. Truth is I know he did these things because of other things the girl told me that I have since confirmed one of which is that he brought a stray girl (18 yrs) into our home under the guise that she was a distant cousin's daughter. It turned out he met her randomly and merely chatted her up.

My Pastors have intervened and told me all these are true but that "he is a man and will never openly admit it now". They are asking me to let go for the sake of my children and the marriage. I am however upset that he will get off this easily and the innocent girl will not get justice. Should I cover his sins and appeal to the girl's father who has indicated that he will do as I advise or should I insist that he is made to apologize to the girl? I keep thinking what if she is my own daughter!! I am at my wits end trying to figure out if I should act as a wife or a mother! Will a good wife cover her husband's sins???

Boko Haram Has Turned Police College to their Training Camp

Today, millions of Nigerians are at the mercy of Boko Haram and it is becoming clearer that our security agencies might not be equal to the task, in terms of fire-power, we observed.

Hope you guys remember that Boko Haram stormed and took over a Nigeria Police College recently? Well, the sad update is that the terrorists have converted the place into the base of the terrorist group and they are conducting their training there, with impunity. Oh dear, this is a big shame!

Director of Catholic Social Communications, Maiduguri Diocese of the Catholic Church, Gideon Obasogie, who made this socking revelation to Punch on Friday, said:

"I am sad, really sad to my bone marrows about this ugly development. The world must know the truth; people were captured and taken to the police training ground for serious training as combatants. It is now one of their strongest bases. The missing policemen have joined the Boko Haram instructors. The guys are multiplying in number, weaponry and geographical expansion."

When asked how he got the knowledge of happenings in the captured police college, Obasogie revealed that he was briefed by a member of his church who was one of the policemen being held captive at the college by the group, but had managed to escape through the hills into Yola, Adamawa State.

The college is a riot police academy in Liman Kara, on the outskirts of Gwoza, a hilly town in Borno State, North-East Nigeria. It is one of only two riot police training colleges in Nigeria.

Boko Haram had on Wednesday, August 21, 2014 attacked the Police Academy, Gwoza, Borno State, and seized not less than 200 assault rifles from the riot policemen on training.

Investigations revealed the insurgents did not encounter any strong resistance from the police personnel as the riot policemen were directed to keep all their guns at the armoury of the academy before Boko Haram attacked the academy and captured the armoury.

Joshua Iginla: Meet the Nigerian Prophet who saw Ebola before it Came Here

Prophet Joshua Iginla, who prefers to be called "Brother" is the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly Church based in Abuja. In his latest intervention in the Ebola saga, the Prophet recalled that he predicted in December 2013 that a certain virus would hit the world. He said scientists would try their part but called on spiritual leaders to come together and tackle it spiritually.

Prophet Iginla said: "There is a spiritual undertone to the issue. There is a link between the witchcraft coven and the marine world that lures people into hell and this is what I'm seeing. I am not mincing words. God revealed it to me which I have said that there would be something like a vaccine or hope that would come and it would be discovered by a group of scientists led by a white scientist with a bald head and this research will bring about 10 per cent hope. 

"However, there is hope if spiritual leaders can complement the work of the scientists. As they are putting their heads together, we should also assemble to pray for the world.

The way out is for us to adhere to measures put in place to prevent it and most important, turn to God."

Pastor Chris' Divorce Tears Christ Embassy; SEE What Church Members are Saying

Only God knows who is truly serving Him in the open and in secret, but what we can tell you is that the divorce mess involving Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Anita, is serious.

As events begin to get clear to members of Christ Embassy, they are being divided over the divorce suit that was filed against the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Church by wife in a London court.

Some members of the church on a Facebook page, 'Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome,' believed to have been opened by Anita's sympathizers, expressed differing opinions on the messy situation.

Below is what Christ Embassy members are saying about the saga...
On Saturday, one of the church member, Ijeoma Olive Ehirim said, "I am a Christ Embassy member. I hate one thing there: How can a pastor be working together with a lady hand in hand, attending meetings and lodging in a hotel for days. My girlfriend travels with our branch pastor annually for PPCF which holds in Lagos. Only God knows."

Sharing a similar view, Samantha Iwowo, described adultery as one of the grounds for divorce.

Iwowo said, "Pastor Chris Oyakhilome must have been discovered compromising his marital bed business. It is what it is. God says judgement will start from His house. 'Touch not my anointed' is God's instruction regarding all His children, not an individual nicking, scheming, threatening monies off people's purses and telling them that salvation is tied to tithes and that seed sowing is only money donation to the church/pastor's coffers. One down, more to roll. Christ be praised."

In her post, Chinyere Okechukwu-George, claimed to have left the church when she observed some irregularities.

"I and my family left Christ Embassy for our own good after worshiping there for three years plus and seeing all the things going on under the disguise of church. And I can comfortably say that for over a year now, we have had so much peace in our Christian lives. I don't care how you view my comment but truth must be told."

Joseph Osagiede, however, responded saying the Oyakhilomes were still together.

He said, "I have been in Christ Embassy for 12 years. All is totally well with thier marriage. All those wishing them to split and also those going about saying nasty things about the church, be careful."

Faith Ebunoluwa Adetayo also said, "I have been in Christ Embassy since 1990s and I can authoritatively say some things: I have seen the power of God work, demonstrated in healings and many other things. I have seen how that Pastor Chris is less concerned about mistakes we make.

"He believes that these sins of the flesh will disappear, only if we listen to the word of God. Rather than condemning us, he speaks words of encouragement. And for your information, Pastor Anita is still very much in the ministry and she's with her darling husband."

Meanwhile, the Christ Embassy has kept mum on the divorce case.

When Punch called, a woman, who picked the call to the Nigerian office of the church on Saturday, said she had no information to give on the matter.

When asked to confirm if the divorce suit was true or not, she simply said, "I have no information to give on the matter."

When another call was made to the church thorough another number, the respondent, who identified herself as Pastor Christabel, said the church had no information about the case.

"No, we have no information on the matter," she said.

OyatoTalk gathered that many members of the church are still in shock about the development.

Pastorpruener Oyakhilome's wife serves him divorce papers in London for adultery

POPULAR pastorpruener Chris Oyakhilome is on the verge of divorcing his wife Anita after her solicitors served him with court papers at a London hotel when he recently visited the UK.
 
Pastor Oyakhilome, the founder of the Christ Embassy Church, is one of Nigeria's most influential and wealthy pastors with a huge following. His congregation is reported to be 40,000 strong and Forbes estimated his net worth, which includes diversified interests such as newspapers, magazines, a local television station, a record label, satellite TV, hotels and extensive real estate, at $50m.
 
On April 9 this year, however, Mrs Oyakhilome filed for a divorce citing unreasonable behaviour and adultery as her grounds for seeking a separation. Since then, the couple have been living apart, with Anita spending a lot of time in London and her husband resident in Nigeria.
 
 In her divorce suit, Mrs Oyakhilome outlined several allegations against the pastor which cannot be published for legal reasons. Her case, with suit number FD14D01650, was filed by Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors at Divorce Section A of Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn in central London.
 
Pastor Oyakhilome was served with a decree nissi in his hotel room on a recent visit to London. In divorce cases, a decree nisi is issued by the court to tell the parties that they have to wait a certain period of time before making their divorce final, to allow time for anyone who objects to the divorce to tell the court their reasons for it.
 
It is also possible for a decree nisi to be set aside with the mutual consent of the spouses. When the period expires, they can apply for the decree absolute, which means the divorce is completed and the partners are no longer married.
 
Pastor Oyakhilome and Anita have two daughters, Sharon and Charlyn, who have tried to broker peace between them but all efforts to reconcile them but seem to have failed. Pastor Oyakhimome too has been making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that his wife would eventually have a change of mind.
 
According to an elder of the church, the pastor has denied allegations of adultery and believes his wife is being influenced by bad friends who are intent on destroying their home. Anita, however, maintains she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, adding that her husband accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry.
 
Church insiders said Pastor Oyakhilome had been hoping for rapprochement but was left with no option than to receive the papers when the lawyers cornered him at his hotel in London. The decree absolute, which will effectively end the marriage, is expected to be issued soon while terms of the divorce will be worked out by the lawyers on both sides.
 
Anita apparently wanted to go public with the details of her allegations against the husband but reached an informal agreement to sheathe her sword in the interest of the church. On June 13 this year, some of Anita's relatives locked up the London branch of the church to protest the humiliation being meted out to their sister.

281 Fake Corps Members Sent Out Of Camp In Niger

281 fake corps members were sent out of the Niger State orientation camp in Paiko after failing to provide authentic documents.

Disclosing this yesterday, August 26, at the close of the three weeks orientation exercise, at the camp, the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Coordinator in the State, Mr. Steven Ehoda-adi, said the fake corps members who had nothing to show that they were qualified for admission into the camp, were immediately sent away.

Mr Steven said some of the corps members claimed to have been attacked by armed robbers on their way to Minna and their call up letters taken away from them while some said they misplaced their call up letter.

He added that some others presented only photocopies of the call up letter which according to him is not accepted by NYSC authority.

He explained that 230 corps members who were pregnant and nursing mothers were disallowed from taking part in routine orientation exercise in the state.

Leadership reports that the NYSC state coordinator disclosed that 3,259 of the Batch B corps members, 2014, successfully, completed the exercise for their primary assignment in the state.

Brig Gen Johnson Olawumi, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), suspended the orientation programme of the 2014 Batch 'B' corps members in six states namely Adamawa, Bauchi, Jigawa, Borno, Gombe, and Yobe States, over Ebola outbreak.

The NYSC Scheme is for those who have graduated from tertiary institution and for you to partake, a call up letter will be sent to your school. The NYSC scheme has 3 stages, first is a 3 week orientation camp, the Community Development Services (done once a week), and The Place of Primary Assignments, (where each corp member is posted to after the orientation camp and where he is to serve for one year).

Currently, there are 3 batches of corps members every year. The Batch A usually starts from around February period. B people starts around June/July, and C October/November.

Nigeria Records New Ebola Death In Port Harcourt

A doctor, who secretly treated a diplomat who had contact with the index case, Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, has died of Ebola in Nigeria.

The doctor, who has yet to be named, died on Friday. His wife has also taken ill and has been quarantined in Port Harcourt. Interestingly, the diplomat the doctor treated is still alive.

The diplomat, who was part of the team who met with Patrick Sawyer in Lagos, flew to Port Harcourt, Rivers State for treatment, evading Nigerian federal government surveillance for the disease. The late doctor then took him to a hotel for treatment.

As a result of this, 70 people have been quarantined. The doctor's hospital, Good Heart Hospital in Rivers State, has been shut down. The unnamed hotel, where the secret treatment took place, has also been shut down, SaharaReporters.

According to a LIB reader who is at the scene, a policeman this morning shot dead an Okada rider. He said his body is still lying on the road and has caused serious traffic along Badore Road in Ajah. How to spot a fake Abuja big girl

If you have lived in Abuja for more than a year, you should understand the term "fake Abuja big babe" or FABB.

These are the girls who are usually very attractive, own all the Apple products in this world, live in N1million flats in Maitama, but if you check their background, their parents are struggling in their various villages.
Enough said, let me educate you.

1. Bleached skin and tattoos:
These days, most girls think they have to be "white-skinned" to be beautiful. They go as far as taking injections to perfect their skin. They then get tattoos to complete the look. These girls have to sell their market. When you check their background, their families are as dark-skinned as they come but these girls look more like Black or White era Michael Jackson.

2. Fake accent:
This is another common trait. FABBs roll their tongues like their lives depend on it. Every vowel, irrespective of the word, is followed by an 'R': Jos become Jors; Taxi, Tarxi; Abuja, Abujarrr.

3. Long 'human' hair:
If they do not have the Brazilian hair that reaches their butt, they haven't arrived. Picture the combo: bleached skin, fake accent and long Brazilian hair. Most of these girls don't even have up to N10, 000 in their bank accounts but they have to impress. All na packaging!

4. Own the latest android phones:
This draws me back to a Nigerian movie I watched weeks ago. Funke Akindele's character sold her bed just so she could buy an Android phone. She preferred to sleep on a bare mattress on the floor than use her regular Nokia phone just so she could impress the guys and catch "proper fish." This is exactly what FABBS do. They would own the iPhone 5s, S4, iPad. Before the iPhone6 is out, they already have it yet they don't have regular jobs. So where do they get all that money from?

5. Don't invite you to their houses:
FABBs never want you to know where they live; it would ruin the illusion of their prosperous lives. Picture this, as a guy, you meet this pretty light skinned lady, who owns all the nicest phone and tablets, maybe drives a car if the hustle is tight; long Brazilian hair and a little cash in their bank account. As a guy, you believe you are toasting or dating a girl who has money. So, why would she invite you to her "face me I face you" to spoil her packaging?

Everybody's hustle is different but that of the Fake Abuja Big Girl is the realest; take note.

Covenant University Student Kidnapped And Murdered (PHOTO)

Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the kidnap and murder of a 20-year-old undergraduate, identified as John Chinedu Okere, who until his death was a 300 level Electrical Engineering student at Covenant University, Otta in Ogun State.

According to reports, Chinedu left his parent's house in the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2014, to a Hospital in Yaba, Lagos for medical reasons and never returned. He reportedly left home with about N6000 and that was the last time he was seen alive.

The mysterious disappearance of Chinedu, caused a stir as the parents ran helter-skelter, in search of him to no avail.  They  gathered from some family members that one of his friends called on phone earlier that morning to tell him to meet him at an undisclosed hotel.

Crime Guard  learnt that at about mid-day,the victim's father, Jude Okere, received an SMS notifying him that Chinedu had been kidnapped. Later, he received a phone call from a hidden number demanding N10 million ransom for the release of his son. The caller allegedly threatened to kill the victim if the parents refused to comply as the line went dead.

Chinedu's  father said:  At about mid-day, I received an SMS that John had been kidnapped. Later, I received a phone call from a hidden number. The caller said they had my son, Chinedu and demanded N10 million as ransom threatening to kill him if we refuse to comply. Immediately, I inquired who the caller was, the line went dead. My wife and I quickly reported the case to the Divisional Police Station at Sabo, Yaba."

After the case was reported to the Police at Sabo, Yaba, it was later transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja the next day where investigations commenced.

It was learnt that initially when the whole issue started, the family of the victim felt it was a kidnap that would just be resolved but unfortunately, as events continued to unfold, it turned out to be a premeditated murder.

Shockingly, the decomposing corpse of Chinedu was discovered in one of the rooms at 'DE Homes Hotel' located in Ejigbo by one of their staff, two days later.

According to reports, the Manager of the hotel went to Ejigbo Divisional Police Station on Friday, 8, 2014, to report the case of murder and investigation began.

A reliable source in the hotel intimated that early on Wednesday morning, the prime suspect, Okorocha Michael along with another young man simply identified as Okey,checked into the hotel with the name Christian. "He booked the room for three days with the name Christian. He claimed he is a youth corps member who wanted to write exams and would be there from that Wednesday to Friday. He also said he was expecting his cousin to join him in the hotel.

'After booking, Michael left his friend Okey in the hotel and returned an hour before the victim, Chinedu arrived the hotel, which was at about 3pm that day. As soon as Chinedu arrived the hotel, Michael took him to the room. We don't know what happened inside the room. However, it was later gathered that during their stay in the room, the suspect reportedly confronted the victim on some personal issues. The confrontation eventually led to a heated argument, which later led to the suspect strangulating the victim to death. On Friday, a hotel staff discovered the lifeless body of the young man and alerted the police."

According to reports, Chinedu was murdered and left in the pool of his blood by unfriendly friends, who brutally killed and abandoned his corpse, went ahead and demanded for ransom from his parents.

Crime Guard learnt the 24-year-old suspect, Okorocha Michael, who was arrested on Sunday, in a friend's house around Ajah area in Lagos, is a graduate of Lagos City Polytechnic, Ikeja. He has been unemployed since he completed his youth service in February this year.

Although no official statement yet as to the cause of the death however, report got in that his old man gave up the ghost today Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.

He had been hospitalized for days. 2face is currently in Abuja where he has been all week.

Ogun State Government Shuts Olabisi Onabanjo University

Ogun State Government has directed the Governing Council of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, to shut the school so as to forestall another round of protest by the students of the institution over the recent reduction of school fees in state-owned tertiary institutions.

The closure was announced through a statement on Saturday signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Taiwo Adeoluwa.

He advised parents and guardians to call their children and wards to order as government would not tolerate any act that would breach the peace being enjoyed by the people of the state.

It will be recalled that the OOU students had held a two-day protest, (Thursday and Friday) two weeks ago, asking the governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, to further review the school fees downwards.

This protest came a few days after the governor announced a reduction in school fees in all state-owned tertiary institutions, which was about 61 per cent across board.

In the protest, which turned violent on the second day, many vehicles had their windshields shattered, while other valuables were destroyed by the rampaging students who took over major streets leading to the governor's office at Oke Mosan.

The governor who later addressed the students and their leaders at MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, condemned their unruly behaviour but promised to reach the committee that worked on the fee reduction and would get back to the students.

The OOU Students' Union Government president, Olusegun Ifade, said he would 'visit' the governor a week after the promise to see what progress would have been made.

Adeoluwa said the decision to shut the institution was taken "in the overall interest of peace and order as the students of the university have continued to issue threats while rejecting all entreaties and concessions made by the government on their various demands concerning the recently announced reduction of school fees."

The police command in the state has also warned that it would not tolerate any action that would threaten peace from the students.

In a statement issued by the command's spokesperson, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, the commissioner of police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, advised the students to leave the school premises as directed by the government and do away with any act that "will be unlawful and security-threatening.

The Police had arrested the family of the lady and the
family of the man, (who is 20 years old) the man himself
had ran away. The 12 year-old girl is in Primary 3.

The scan was done and a doctor told us that she is about
7 months pregnant. He thinks there there could be a
problem with the legs of the child, but he wasn't sure.
We took the little girl to Amecet, gave her food and one
of the staff has spend some time
with her this afternoon. To see if she knows what's
going on.
She is really a child and is even happy that she gets a
baby. It will be a big problem, she is too small for a
natural birth, it probably should be a caesarian. She
played Memory with the other children and I could cry,
to see her sitting there with that big belly, this will be
really a child with a child. And while she should be able
to play and have fun, she is getting a baby.
Some things I just can not understand, they make me

C&S Church Pastor Rapés Woman During Deliverance In Lagos

The police in Ogun State has arrested 37years old Pastor Segun Alawode of the Eternal Sacred Order C & S Church Sabo, in Odogbolu area of the State, for raping a 32-year-old lady in his church premises.

The pastor's alleged dirty act is a big disgrace to his church members:

The woman said that the pastor was in a prayer session with her when he asked her to hold on to some candle stick and suddenly he forcefully pulled off her clothes before and eventually had carnal knowledge of her in the church.

The anti-crime team attached to Odogbolu Division of Ogun State Command apprehended the pastor when the victim and her relations stormed the Police Division to notify the Divisional Police Officer of his misdeeds and to seek justice through the police.

The state's police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said "the matter is currently at the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Abeokuta and medical reports so far received on the matter confirmed that the pastor actually committed the offence and he has confessed to the crime. The matter will soon be charged to court."

Stealing In Church: Pastor Adeboye Warns Redeemed Pastors

These are not good times in Redeemed Christian Church of God as the church's respected Genera; Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not happy with some of his pastors.

And this is not unconnected with the several reports reaching him about the fraudulent practices of some of the pastors.

According to reports, some of them engage in sharp practices with church money, which has been a source of headache to the humble clergy for a while. Thus, Pastor Adeboye has issued a serious warning to Redeemed Church pastors over accountability and stewardship. He admonished all those involved in all forms of dishonest practices to stop it or face the wrath of God.

In a letter given to all the workers, specific instructions were handed down:
All pastors must be more accountable in their financial dealings. Daddy G.O., as he is foundly called by all and sundry, also encouraged the pastors to be responsible for their flocks by taking good care of them.

Encomium Weekly reports that to guard against future fraudulent practices, he instructed all pastors manning each branch to have a petty cash book, asset register income, analysis and bank book.

Furthermore, there would be a quality audit of the ministry's account book provided by the province.
