Omonigho Abraham, the four year old boy who was attacked by dogs in the Igando area of Lagos State, has returned into the country from an India medical trip.
Punch reports that Omonigho returned into Nigeria on Thursday, yesterday, with his father, Odia, and mother, Helen, who went with him on the trip.
Last year, October 7, 2014, the young boy was attacked by two dogs at their house on Adegboyega Street, Akesan Estate. Omonigho was playing with his two brothers, Osemudiamen and Bobby, when the dogs, owned by their landlord, pursued them.

Governor of Kaduna state, Ramallan Yero has said that the
All Progressives Congress (APC) is guilty of renting crowd for its
campaign in the state.
Yero, today, January 31, said contrary to its claim of being popular, the crowd that attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Kaduna was rented.
He said no matter the antics of APC, the PDP will win the elections billed for February.

Aishatu Buhari, wife of the presidential candidate of the
All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerian
women to work for peaceful general election.
Aishatu who made the call on Friday in Yola, Adamawa State capital
while addressing an APC Women Presidential Campaign Initiative town hall
meeting, urged women to work for peaceful general election.
Premium Times reports that Mrs Buhari, who was represented by Zainab Nyako, said women have a critical role to play towards a peaceful election and victory of APC at all levels.
“It is also imperative, for us to educate our party members on peaceful conduct before, during and after elections.We should avoid violence in all its ramifications because this is one area that the ruling party is looking up to discredit the efforts and successes of our party,” Mrs. Nyako said.
Mrs Nyako, however, reiterated the need for voter’s education and called on women coordinators of Buhari campaign organization in the state and local government areas to storm door to door as well as person to person soliciting for votes.
Speaking also at the campaign rally, Faith Pukuma, Adamawa Coordinator of the Women Presidential Campaign Initiative, and Adamawa APC Women Leader, Hauwa Koma, reassured their commitment to the party’s women to mobilized voters for APC.
The women leaders vowed to handle Adamawa State campaign with strength because it is the home state of Aishatu Buhari.
Meanwhile, the lingering issue on proposed debate between President Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari has continued to sail on, especially as Murtala Muhammed Foundation (MMF) has provided the two major presidential candidates with another opportunity to participate in the debates ahead of next month’s elections.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential
candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has revealed why he decided not
to partake in the debate organised by the Nigeria Election Debate Group.
The explanation was conveyed on Friday by the Buhari Support Organisation, the umbrella body of all support groups campaigning for the 2015 February 14 presidential election, The Nation reports.
The organisation’s spokesman, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe, stated that the composition of the debate panel is a clear indication that there was a ground design to rubbish the hard earned integrity of the APC presidential candidate.

2015 that unknown to many, Bartholomew, the elder brother of popular

A middle aged man has been accused of raping a five-year-old girl at the National Stadium at Surulere, Lagos.
The unnamed little girl had been running errands for her mother-who is a trader at the stadium- when she was lured to a hidden location and raped by the man called Uche.
According to reports, Uche was a former bartender at “Old Skool” bar, a drinking joint at the stadium.
The rape was later discovered when the mother of the girl noticed that she was in pain when she returned from the errand. After questioning, the five-year-old confessed that Uche raped her.
The mother according to the report has reported the case at the Surulere Police Station.
Another report however revealed that the mother of the rape victim had collected the sum of N30, 000 from Uche for the treatment of her daughter.
