Kashim Shettima, the governor of Borno state, reportedly
spends N10 million everyday on Ramadan food, despite economic crisis in
state.
Since the start of fasting month on June 17 the Borno governor has thrown a overgenerous breakfast party everyday for upper class individuals in the state capital, Sahara Reporters informs.
This party is held everyday despite the despairing economic state in area, which has been worsen by regular terrorist attacks by Boko Haram.
It worth to be mentioning that the Borno state house of assembly recently reduced the number of assistants Shettima has from 40 to 20 in an attempt to control horrific expenses from the state government.
