The crack in the celebrated On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa’s marriage is still trending even after two days. The ugly incident that her husband, Maje Ayida allegedly impregnated another woman outside matrimony has called for public opinion.
For the popular Nollywood producer and director, Egor
Efiok, she has added her own voice in the marriage imbroglio. Miffed by
the manner Nigerians celebs and others have been rejoicing over the
matter, Egor, a writer, critic and publicist to some Nollywood stars,
has decided to take a stand as she throws her weight behind Toke and
warned the public to desist from making a mockery of a woman who is
believed to be going through serious emotional torture at the moment.
Here is a duplicate of her opinion culled from her Facebook wall; “I honestly do not understand the pride in getting pregnant for somebody else’s husband. Have women stopped having regard for themselves? It is such a shameful thing. God forbid. And as for those gloating over another woman’s misery/misfortune or playing the blame game, pray that a worse JEZEBEL doesn’t visit your own marriage.
