See Toke Makinwa's Hubby & The Girl He Impregnated on Bed

Popular on air personality Toke Makinwa has gone for prayers in Mountain of Fire Church to help manage the mess in her marriage after her loving husband, who dated her for about 12 years before marriage, went to play some secret bedroom matches and got his Calabar girlfriend, Anita, pregnant.

Some people say the condom he used leaked, others say he impregnated her intentionally because he was tired of his wife and needed to move on. Whatever the case, they will settle, one way or the other.

But my take on this saga is that many men will get into trouble with God over this one-man/one-wife thing that the Christian fold is forcing down the throat of African men. If men are allowed to marry more than one wife legitimately (like Evangelist Diya, Raymond Dokpesi, etc), they would do so instead of having just one wife at home, while they continue "firing" single ladies in secret.

Many prominent men in the Bible we read have much more than one wife, yet that did not stop them from doing the right thing. In fact, it is the act of trying to force every man to be with just one woman that is causing a lot of the problem in the society today.

Churches should try and teach women that they are not equal with men, otherwise divorce will continue to be on the increase because more men will be leaving their wife for more appealing young girls.

If we want to continue to pretend that men and women are equal, lets keep at it, the joke is on all of us.
