The musician who was born June 9, 1980, got a birthday shout out from former label mate Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy took to his Twitter account to disprove all speculation that things might not be going well between himself and the singer.

There is speculation that all has not been going well financially for the singer since he left Don Jazzy, even with the international recognition he has since received.
However, in a bid to celebrate his birthday in style, D’banj, who just returned from Mauritius alongside Timaya and Banky W, will be having a local celebration as he plans to go down to a local eatery popularly known as ‘buka’ in Mushin suburb of Lagos to wine and dine with his fans.
